For Her
Symone’s Library was made for someone very close to my heart. The inspiration behind it was simple: to create something that reflects who she naturally is curious, thoughtful, ambitious, and always open to discovering new ideas and different ways of understanding the world.
I wanted to build a space that supports and encourages that curiosity in a way that feels intentional, comforting, and personal. More than anything, this library is a reflection of how much she means to me. Thoughtfully created for someone who continually inspires me through her intelligence, perspective, and the person she continues to grow into.
Symone’s Library is a curated digital collection centered primarily around Black authors and a wide range of genres. It was designed to feel less like a traditional database and more like a personal library — a space that encourages curiosity, reflection, imagination, and learning through stories that truly resonate.
